Cosmo Terminal Trident
I personally never got into CTT shift boosting, its my biggest weakness in GX, so instead I just KO'd everyone.
In the earliest days of the game everyone was trying to get sub 2 on both Max Speed and Snaking, one player did get sub 2 snaking before me but it turned out they were playing on 50hz which our community considers a different category. Now even in snaking you have to use Dread Hammer body and go crazy with shift boosting to get the fastest time possible.
Sand Ocean Lateral Shift
My current pb is 1'17"424 with Fat Shark of course but my main focus on this course was the other original machines, its a course where I have a handful of strong times with many machines. Crazy Bear was a favorite machine of mine because of how much potential I saw it had, earning itself the nickname of mini shark.
I guess I kind of ignored this track snaking because you just never finish a run if you go all out with shift boosts, but at the time I recall thinking 1'15 is about the time I would get based on my pace with snaking with shift boosts, but so much faster is possible and that's how you end up never finishing. I want to give a special shout out to BattleStream for breaking the 1min barrier on this course with one of the most insane runs ever in this game with a time of 59"561 using Omega Condor-V2.
Fire Field Undulation
I would say my best overall run was a recent run I did with Black Bull. The standards for this track are higher now than ever, you are expected to be able to do double shift boosts, which I think are quite difficult to do and control but have gotten better at them here. I haven't really used Fat Shark here since I was focused on improving the times of other original machines.
I haven't yet put in the work to get a sub 1'20 here and I think I could do 1'16 at best but skill issues occur. This is such a crazy course and the skill ceiling is seemingly unlimited so the time to cut is there but just have to acquire the skill to do it.
Aeropolis Dragon Slope
For some reason I just never got into this course, most likely because its only good with heavy machines and I don't often use 2000 plus machines. I made a challenge race for this course with the condition you are only allowed to use Green custom parts and that actually was fun to do so maybe I should play the course more.
Phantom Road Slim-Line Slits
Great Star-G4 is not the ideal choice here but still a good machine. I do have a variety of runs on this course with original machines but with new boost patterns to get a shift boost like drop at a lower speed around 1200-1250, I think that's the allowed range, you get a nice low and fast flight and then save a boost and can get a much faster time overall and also just recently we are realizing the 1st lap drop is doable with a lot of machines but it requires a very precise MTS or MTRS before the drop, we kind of knew it before but now its becoming required.
My pb is 1'19"931 with Omega Condor-V2, it was a great time for when I set it and the only time I have snaked PRSLS since was during snake week using Iron Tiger, I just like to use all the machines to see how well they can snake.
